Sport Reins with Scissor Snaps

Sport reins with scissor snaps are made from 1/2 inch classic white stable braid marine rope. Standard lengths are 8 1/2, 9, 10 and 11 feet. Custom lengths are available but not returnable. The scissor snaps are spliced into the ends of the reins for easy connection to the bit.

Sport reins with scissor snaps are a special order item. Standard lengths are 8 1/2, 9, 10 and 11 feet. If you desire a different length, please put a note in the text box in the shopping cart. Please note that the snaps break under pressure and cannot be replaced. Breakaway snaps on a bridle are a safety feature. If there is enough pressure on the bit to break the snap it is better for the snap to break than for the horse to be hurt. For that reason, our money back guarantee does not apply to broken scissor snaps.
