Solid Colored Rope for Leads and Reins

Our solid colored leads and reins are made with polyester marine grade rope manufactured by Pelican Rope Works and Aamstrand.  The rope is constructed with a braided inner core and braided outer sleeve for flexibility and strength.

Polyester is durable, strong, color fast, and can last for years. The solid colored polyester rope is slightly softer and thicker than the multicolored New England Rope providing slightly more comfort for the horse.

Available colors: Black, Pacific Blue, Hunter, Purple, Kelly Green and Red.

Nylon is strong, soft and can last for years. It is available in colors we can't get in polyester. The solid colored nylon rope like the solid polyester rope is slightly softer and thicker than the multicolored New England Rope providing slightly more comfort for the horse. It is a little more delicate than the polyester. We recommend storing it indoors when not in use. It retains it's strendth and function for years. However, over time it develops a fuzzy look. The main reason to choose Nylon is for color.

Tracer:
When comparing rope, note the tracer (or lack of tracer) which identifies the manufacturer.  The tracer is a thread of a different color which is woven into the outer cover or sleeve of the rope.
